MARLISCO Cyprus to visit over 250 schools!

MARLISCO Cyprus is teaming up with the NGO AKTI Project and Research Centre to carry out marine litter awareness presentations in over 250 schools in Cyprus. AKTI, as part of its environmental awareness programme called ‘Tiganokinisi’, visits schools around Cyprus carrying out interactive presentations on the issue of the environment, reuse and recycling and particularly the conversion of used cooking oil into biodiesel. MARLISCO Cyprus representatives will accompany the mobile information centre of AKTI, informing over 50,000 students per year about the issue of marine litter and what can be done to address it.
