The Province of Teramo took part to the VIII Italian National Conference on River Contracts with MARLISCO
The Province of Teramo took part to the VIII Italian National Conference on River Contracts (http://nuke.a21fiumi.eu/), which took place in Florence on the 9th of December 2013, by exposing a poster illustrating the 7FP MARLISCO project.
River Contracts are an emergent and more and more nationally diffused reality in the new Italian territorial planning. They can also be declined in form of Lake or Coast (and similar) Contracts and are generally considered as agreements about collective goods aiming at making the policies more efficient and at actively involving local communities into the decision-making.
Because one of the main MARLISCO project objective is to raise public awareness of marine litter, its presence into the National River Contracts Conference aims at underlining how their reduction cannot leave a careful and involving river and coastal joint planning, shared by a various stakeholders, out of consideration.
