Waste minimisation guide for aquaculture in Scotland (UK)
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) prepared and published a report addressed to owners and operators of marine-based aquaculture on how they can minimise their waste (solid and liquid waste and fish mortalities). Specifically, it gives advice on how to implement the waste hierarchy (reduce>reuse>recycle) for feed bags, containers for chemicals, discarded cages, wooden pallets etc.
